Wiktoria came to us from Poland with a background working in the can making industry and a desire to experience U.S. manufacturing.  At Vobev she was able to apply her industry experience working with a startup, in an industry she was familiar with while also learning about the American culture.

Wiktoria graduated in Logistics with an engineering degree from Gdynia Maritime University in Gdynia, Poland, and is currently pursuing a Business Management degree at the Warsaw School of Economics.

For the past two months, Wiktoria worked closely with our Logistics, and Can Filling, teams to help in developing and implementing various programs and procedures to improve throughput and line changeover efficiencies.

“My internship at Vobev taught me a lot about myself. I further developed soft skills, such as the ability to adapt to new and changing environments and improving my communication skills,” said Wiktoria, “but the best part was getting to know the people working here. It was a great pleasure to work and learn from them.”

Vobev is committed to further developing an internship program, carefully curating a unique hands-on experience that will foster great personal and professional growth.  Future plans include engaging with local universities to open opportunities for engineering and logistics students as well as graduates looking for their first experience in manufacturing.  If you are interested in an internship or graduate rotation opportunity, please contact HR@vobev.com.
